This photo...
is from an album once belonged to my maternal grandparents. We think it's a sister or sister-in law to our grandmother.
A Finnish country girl with her bike and her fancy outfit. She's proud to show the world what she have and luckily someone had a camera.

Little girl throwing snowballs
Old scrap die cut (bokmärke) from a little album I bought in a local antique shop a few years ago.
It's a big fire in Cape Town, but I have just got a message from little sister - she's in safe.
Austin did not make it to the final but I love his romantic, nostalgic and glamorous clothes
Went to see Pride and Prejudice yesterday with my workmates. It was beautiful but I liked the old one more.

Unknown girl
Old photo, bought in antique shop. Maybe it's her confirmation?
Not much crafty going on here right now, just lurking around others places...

Frieda Hempel (1885-1955)
Cute card found in charity shop.
I'm blushing (sorry sister!) and admit that I'm not well-read enough to know who she was.
I just recognized her name and googled a bit to realise that she was a very popular opera singer.
She was also one of the Famous Pet Owners Who Buried Their Pets At Hartsdale, NY.
Apropos of opera, my sister works at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå and they are soon going to Cape Town!

Slowly coming back...
from my Holiday break.
Here are a couple of my new toys:
I never thought I needed a Moleskine but it was love at first sight...
The ring is from Renathe Schneider, a very talented Manhattan girl (from Örebro!).
She was here in town for Christmas and I had the fortune to meet her.
I bought a ring to my sister too.
One can nothing but love these little cuties!
