Bedtime
I found some old clothes patterns at the thrift store recently. This one just had the cover picture but it reminded me so much of my childhood so I bought it as well.

Me
...my mother and my little brother, just before we emigrated to Sweden in 1961. I was 3½, my mother 24 and brother 6 months. I had my favorite amber necklace and new red corduroy trousers with goldthreads (brother had turquoise with silverthreads; presents from mothers cousin in Canada). Dad was already in Sweden waiting for us.

Jag har alltid tyckt att jag ser lite viktig ut på kortet men jag var en lillgammal flicka, snäll som en ängel. Mina morföräldrar såg till att vi kom till fotografen innan flytten så de skulle ha fina kort att titta på när vi var så långt borta. Fyra år senare var de borta bägge två och det dröjde till 1971 innan vi som familj åkte tillbaka till Finland på besök.
8-12 juni är det Ulriksdal Flower Show på Ulriksdals slott

Wonderful

I made a card today, inspired by Hanna. It's a birthday card to a friend (she don't use the Internet!). It was so fun! And I will definitely try to make more cards.

Tomorrow we are going to mother-in-law, it's her birthday. We don't have Mother's Day in Sweden until last sunday in May.

Some of my...

Like many other people I've been collecting buttons since childhood and I still do. I seldom buy new ones, thrift finds is funnier. My favorite is in the middle, it's a handpainted brass button. A very dear friend, also a collector, gave it to me.
